Wow, I really suck at posting. I keep back-spacing and re-writing sentences over and over again. Then this goes on in my head: “Nah, that sucks”, “Ugh, you say that A LOT, say it differently!” , “What does that mean?”, “Start over, that makes no sense”, “Wow, that’s random” ect…. Meh.
Hmmm, I’m finally back in the gym *happy dance*, I started lifting weights again, but I’m going back into it slowly so that I don’t injure myself again. I hurt my knee back in October when I was doing yoga(It was my first and last class) and I completely ignored it until it started to affect my lifting around late November-ish. Don’t ignore your injuries people!! It sucks. Big time!
Tomorrow I’m heading back to the gym to do some squats and maybe deads. I’m pretty excited. Oh, and I have also been doing WODs for a spartan race. A friend of mine and I decided to take part. I am so excited and scared at the same time. I can’t even do more than 15 burpees and we’re supposed to be able to do 50. *gulps*
- Drink 3L of water per day.
- Go back to the doctor to check out leg.
- Eat Veggies and almonds
There; short and simple. I’m not going to give myself too many goals and set myself up for failure. Not this time.
Please, pardon my french, but I’m just so excited and nervous at the same time that I cannot really contain myself. I actually have a goal now. A friggin’ real one. I just signed up to be a volunteer of a Spartan Race that is taking place in my city during the summer. And…. I volunteered to be a Spartan Model! I had originally signed up to do something boring like registration or parking; but then, I thought ‘What the hell?’ So I just changed it from registration to spartan model. Nothing big has happened yet; I assume that they would have to call me or shoot me an email to let me know of any further details. I can’t wait.

Reading week is over and I’m back in school mode. It was great having a week off from school, but I’m glad to be back. I can finally have some sort of school routine going. I made some small goals for this week only, because I find that when I do monthly goals, I don’t do that well. My goals are:
- Drink 3L of water per day
- Go to the gym in the mornings (Before 10am) + stretch after every workout.
- Pack meals the night before.
- Be in bed, latest 11:30pm
- Get Started on Biology assignment
I know these goals are doable, I just actually need to stick with them. So far, I am off to a good start. I packed my meals for the whole day last night and right now I’m at 1.5L and I’ve done the gym. Girl, look at you go! Okay, so gym session this afternoon was great, I made a PR, woohoo. I brought my weights down in bench so I could work on form, probably was a good idea. For the first time today, I stretched inside the gym before leaving. This must be something I do after every workout from now on. Gah, today’s a good day. I hope everyone is having a good Halloween!
